New post (Jockey produced Mad Bum underwear given away at Giants celebration) has been published on HeadGab To commemorate Madison Bumgarner’s historic postseason, the folks at Jockey — yes, the underwear company — created a very limited supply of “Mad Bum” inspired apparel that was given away to 2,000 lucky fans at Friday’s championship celebration. Madison Bumgarner has his own line of Jockey underwear. Well, kinda. Although you can already hear the cash registers cha-chinging in and around the Bay Area, the “Mad Bum” underwear will not be available for sale. It’s a one-time batch, according to Dustin Cohn, CMO of Jockey International, which makes each of the 2,000 pair handed out a collector’s item. We’re proud he wears Jockey and congratulate him on a third championship.” Bumgarner offered his own thoughts on the underwear during this interview with Comcast SportsNet Bay Area. You can catch them around the 1:33 mark. Your browser does not support iframes. Chances are this is not what anyone had in mind when the “Mad Bum” moniker was created. But Cohn’s right, it fits the brand, and anything with Bumgarner’s name on it right now will bring more eyes to that brand. It’s called striking while the iron is hot, and it doesn’t end there for Jockey. They’re already promoting a 30% off men’s sport underwear sale for those who use the code: MADBUM. So even If you missed out at the parade, you still have a chance to come out ahead thanks to San Francisco’s ace.
