New post, Linzer Torte: I believe I owe you some cookies, well, this is even better, the best linzer torte Ive ever had, an aromatic blend of walnuts, cinnamon, cloves and lemon zest that is distinctly, wonderfully December to me. It hails from Maida Heatter via a good friend, and I was terrified to make it at home -- for no good reason. Dont be intimidated by that pretty design and long history of the dessert; Heatter has a knack for making even the most complicated desserts doable, and even enjoyable, at home. I hope this becomes your new December tradition as well.
