New question: We now have precedent set by the NBA. Zero tolerance for racist rhetoric. Now what happens in the locker room when a player says something racist to another? They represent a brand and does that brand have a right to fire them? And, now, how will racist be defined? Is it a white player saying something to a black player? A straight player saying something to a gay player? A black player saying something to a black player? I think everyone has an obligation to clean up their language and their act. Think what you want but if you say it, you are out. And, watch what you say on Facebook or twitter, it may come back to bite you. Therein lies the slippery slope of civil rights vs. corporate interest.
