New research in the Journal of the American Heart Association - TopicsExpress

New research in the Journal of the American Heart Association found that too much TV time is related to premature death. Watching for three or more hours a day doubles the risk of an early death compared to those who watch less and a 13% increased risk for every two hours spent watching TV. Even spending time sitting doing other activities did not have the same effects as TV watching. Physical activity is known for having a positive impact on your heart health and obesity related diseases. This research gives us all the more reason to get at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise five days a week.
