New scholarship available for business students in The Burnett Honors College. The application is due January 31. The Grocery Manufacturers’ Representatives Scholarship was established by The Florida Grocery Manufacturers’ Representative group (GMR) in 2013 to support UCF Burnett Honors College Business students who are interested in careers in the consumer packaged goods and/or food industry. The GMR exists to foster the interaction and development of Florida grocery industry professionals. Two awards will be offered of $1,000 each Fall and Spring semester to Business students annually who have a GPA of 3.3 or better. Recipients will be selected based on their academic record, leadership, community activities and work experience. Student awardees are encouraged to attend one Florida GMR networking event annually.
