New shows tonight! Debra Messing returns to prime time as Laura Diamond, a detective with a lot of defective qualities. The Mysteries of Laura is based on a Spanish show of the same name (when translated) and premise. NBC have dragged it forward a week to avoid its first episode airing in the block of new and returning shows, which is never a good sign. The trailer looks zany, but maybe TOO out there to connect with viewers. By the way, the trailer *totally* spoils the first episode, so if you want a taste of the show, only watch the first 2 minutes or so. You have been warned.
