New study by Cornell shows fracking waste injection wells - TopicsExpress

New study by Cornell shows fracking waste injection wells definitely linked to earthquake activity. So I have to ask: when the earth quakes, where does that high pressure water go? If there are fissures or cracks in the rock, Id be thinking that it would be insinuating itself into the wider environment. It might very well not be such a safe, secure thing to so. Can a leak under pressure run out 4 or 5 miles? My guess is, You betcha! Trading safe ground water for poison might turn out to be a bad bargain. Then I have to ask, Whos going to pay for the clean up? Sounds like another spill just like the other spill in NC, where the owners now say they cant afford the freight to put things right, even though they had no trouble spending all that cash they made in the meantime.
