New this year, Downtown Christmas Lights synced to music. Brought to you by the City of Huntington, The Mayors Office, Huntington Sheet Metal, Huntington Downtown Association and Huntington County 4-H Robotics. Pending everything goes well...technology can be trying at times...Starting Nov 29th, 6-10pm, about a 15 minute show will be broadcast on low power FM 87.9. While youre down there, patronize the local business, like Party Shop, Antiqology, Nicks and Giggabuggy just to name a few that are normally open during those hours and participating in one way or another. If you are a business downtown, you have the option to decorate your store front and connect to the show. The more lights hung the bigger the effect can be downtown. There wont be a formal turn on like Sunken Gardens that I am aware of, but there might be a small crowd hanging out near Party Shop or Antiqology for hot cocoa or soda. :-) Hope you guys like it. (No speakers will be playing out-loud as not to disturb business or residents, but you can listen in your car parked preferably.)
