New year project is my daughters bedroom make over. In a family with 5 kids not everyone gets to have their own room. Ms S had to wait a long time to get hers. So we decided a special make over was much deserved! We decided on grey and pink chevron decor. We still have several project on the docket but we finished the first phase. We painted with Behr primer and paint and decided on a pink accent wall for behind the bed. We worked on our furniture layout which can be one of the trickiest parts of decorating a room. I allowed Ms S to pick some special decor items that would help her theme, but I mainly wanted to use the items that were special to her. Ms S likes to collect lots of things so I wanted to find ways to showcase her collections. (See each picture for details)
