RDH | Lady Lake, FL A friendly and upbeat Florida based Healthcare company invites a skilled & professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join the team at a reputable dental office in Lady Lake. Candidates should be available Monday through Thursday 8a-5p. Part-time hours may be considered. This is a permanent position. Qualifications: Possess a State of FL RDH License Minimum of 1 year of recent & related dental experience Knowledge of electronic documentation Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated track record of patient responsibility, treatment, and efficacy with positive results Proven track record in customer service and outcomes Effective written and verbal communication skills Knowledgeable in the use of web-based patient management software Strong computer skills Strong organizational skills Responsibilities Include: Conducting patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulse Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays) Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth Applying preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides) Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling) Counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health Making impressions of patients teeth for study casts Following instructions from Dentist(s) Supporting the team (office & company) Demonstrating solid performance or exceeding performance standards Identifying and developing improvements to better serve the client and office Demonstrating expertise in conflict management skills Compensation & Benefits: High hourly rate Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Benefits Joining a friendly, respectful and positive employer We are interviewing immediately and looking forward to meeting you.
