Newest update they are having to do 2 units of blood...getting her cross matched with a donor now due to being symptomatic of anemia....they say due to her being septic(having sepsis/bacteria in blood) its causing her bone marrow not to produce red cells like it should causing hemoglobin and hematocrit to be low....she is very pale, heart rate up very high and respiratory high even though fever is down. Doctor is very concerned with the fact of on two antibiotics and still no change in how she is(no improvement). He is wandering if on top of sepsis she also has meningitis, so he is going to talk to another doctor and decide wether to do spinal tap today(will know in an hour he said). She wakes very little and when she does she moans and groans...doctor also said that the gram rod negative being whats showing up in blood is not good bc it makes them so sick and takes a while for it to get out of system and fact that she was on antibiotic for 2 weeks that ended last thurs isnt a good sign of how it is going to react to antibiotics....
