News Alerts- PDP will take over entire South West – Obanikoro Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, is not new in Lagos political terrain. In 2007, he contested the governorship election in the state, which he lost to incumbent governor, Babatunde Fashola. But, he has remained a constant feature in the quest by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to break the stronghold of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Lagos and deliver the state to his party come 2015. Obanikoro, who spoke to some journalists in Lagos, argued that the policies of South-West governors has pitched them against the masses in the zone, hence the PDP is strategising to continue its winning streak in the forthcoming Osun State gubernatorial election. He also spoke on his gubernatorial ambition and the victory of the PDP in the Ekiti gubernatorial elections. Senior Correspondent, EKENE OKORO was there. Excerpts:
