News Centre Today is Friday, June 21, 2013 Oldman River Flooding Advisory Published June 21, 2013 Friday June 21, 2013 8:38 p.m. Water levels continue to rise. Our current forcast from Alberta Environment is that the river should peak at 2005 levels between midnight and 2:00 a.m. Based on these predictions we expect the bridges to remain open. We will continue to monitor flows throughout the night. The river is flowing very fast and has heavy debris. The river valley remains closed. Water remains safe to drink but please conserve water by reducing consumption. Lower consumption reduces strain on our water treatment plant and wastewater treatment plant.
