A Deputy Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Sammy Awuku, has been invited by the United States government to participate in the American Council for Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) programme, which is expected to be held in the United State. Mr. Awuku, as a guest of the United State government, is expected to arrive in Washington DC on Wednesday, September 11th, 2013 and return to Ghana on Sunday, September 22, 2013. A letter signed by the Head of Cultural Affairs at the US Embassy in Ghana, Madam Traci Meli, and sighted by the Ghanaian Observer (GO) newspaper said during the professional exchange, Mr. Awuku will have the opportunity to meet, learn and share ideas with counterparts in the United States of America with other participants from Kenya, South Africa and Namibia.
