News! News!! News!!! The Headlines: -The State Government has commenced the arrest of those who defaced the newly constructed ultral modern waiting shades popularly called Bus stops with posters. The first day of the exercise in Asaba saw the arrest of the owner of a business centre and two Pastors. The State Commissioner for transport Hon. Ben Igbakpa who led the operations described the Development as sad. Hon. Igbakpa expressed worry over the attitude of some residents of the state wondering why beautiful structures should be turned into advert base, he promised that the State Government would employ all legal measures to get those involved arrested and prosecuted to serve as deterrent to others - The Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Commnunities Affairs Mr Vincent Omorie has charged residents of communities in Egbema and Gbaramatu Kingdoms to shun illegal bunkering and other crimes inorder to fast track Development in the oil producing areas, Mr Omorie gave the charge when he led the Executive of Egbema and Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation to inspect and commission some projects in the two communities - The Commissioner representing Ethiope west, Sapele and Okpe Local Government Areas on the Board of DESOPADEC Dr. Henry Ofa has donated a giant generating set to the Mobile police Force Squadron 51 based at Oghara in Ethiope west Headquarters to ensure effective service delivering.Dr.Ofa who handed the generating set to the Police Commander of the Mobile Unit CSP Sylvester Uzuefuna commended the State Commissioner of Police Ikechukwu Aduba and his men for their doggedness in the area of crime prevention and control in the State - The State Government has brought succour to victims of the 2011 Bonga Field Oil spillage with the provision of relief materials to 83 affected Communities in Warri south west and Warri North Local Government Areas. The intervention by the Government which is on humanitarian grounds was in response to an appeal by communities who were yet to be compensated from Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited.
