News Release FIFA OFFICIAL PREDICTS A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR GRENADAS FOOTBALL Thursday 25th September, 2014, ST. GEORGES: The vision for Football in Grenada is bright, those were the words of FIFA Regional Development Officer Mr. Howard Mc Intosh while on a recent visit to the Spice Isle. Speaking to the many milestones achieved by the Association since his last visit, Mc Intosh encouraged the local Football body to continue on its path of growth, repeating one of his favourite quotes, If you do, FIFA does. Over the last four years FIFA has received an increased number of requests from the Association for the funding of workshops and other developmental sessions, aimed at building the capacity of members with in the football fraternity. Mc Intosh said looking at some of the projects presently ongoing for the Association; infrastructure - Goal and Special projects is evidence of the potential which exist within the Association and the hope for future growth. In line with the noticeable progress currently experienced by the Association, Mc Intosh said that the world governing body of Football is contemplating using the Grenada Football Association as a case study. The present drive of the Association, coupled with the opportunities available, will create synergies, and once proper strategies are put in place, will drive the Association going forward to support and grow the sport, Mc Intosh said.
