News Release: Pag-IBIG Fund applauds partners in providing services BY: APRIL M. MONTES URDANETA CITY, Pangasinan, January 25 (PIA) – The Pag-IBIG Fund Urdaneta branch has recognized the performance and support of individuals and organizations which contributed to the advancement of Pag-IBIG members in eastern Pangasinan. Fund coordinators, employers, media partners, government agencies, local government units and private sector were given their plaques of recognition during the 2nd Bannawag Ti Daya Awards. Adjudged as Outstanding Media Partners for 2014 were Philippine Information Agency (PIA)-Pangasinan Information Center (print category), DZRD Sonshine Radio Dagupan (radio category), and GMA TV-10 Dagupan (television category). The Distinguished Service Awards were given to schools division superintendents Dr. Maria Celia Fernandez of the Department of Education (DepEd) Urdaneta City Division and Dr. Viraluz Raguindin of DepEd-Pangasinan II Division. Awarded as champions in enrolling Fund members to the Modified Pag-IBIG II (MP2) Program were Benigno V. Aldana National High School in Pozorrubio town for the government sector and the Northern Cement Corporation in Sison town for the private sector. Recipients of the Membership Identification Numbers (MID) Champion Awards were Urdaneta City University and Divine Word College of Urdaneta for requiring members to register for and acquire an MID number to ensure that the contributions are properly remitted to and recorded with the Pag-IBIG Fund. Jose del Rosario Jr. and Michelle Pasion of the local government of Urdaneta; and Ferdinand Pascua of Northern Cement Corporation were conferred the Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) Champion Awards while champions in Upgraded Members’ Savings were Edna Domingo of Rosales National High School and Harris Narbarte of Northern Luzon Mission. The 2nd Bannawag Ti Daya Awards was staged during the annual Fund Coordinators Club-Pangasinan Chapter’s meeting held at the Urdaneta Cultural Center here on January 13. Meanwhile, Lilia Anguluan, area head in the Ilocos Region, assured clients, members and would-be members that Pag-IBIG Fund will continue to be bigger, better and faster this year in the service of the Filipino worker.
