News Release for Monday, 7/14/14: On 7/08/14 at 6:00 a.m., Joseph D. Colello, 40, of 619 Sherman St., Watertown, NY, was issued a ticket for Operation While Registration Suspended/Revoked (registration suspended on 6/13/14 for insurance not in effect), following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the City of Oswego. Mr. Colello had been driving westbound when a License Plate Reader targeted his vehicle. He is scheduled to answer the charge before Oswego City Court on 7/24/14. On 7/08/14 at 8:14 p.m., Brandee J. Pettit, 34, of 203 Towne Road, Pulaski, NY, was charged with Harassment, Second Degree, a violation, stemming from the investigation into a domestic incident during which she allegedly kicked a female victim in the stomach. Ms. Pettit was arraigned before the Hon. James Ridgeway, Town of Richland Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250 cash bail or $500 bail bond. She is scheduled to return to court on 7/14/14. On 7/11/14 at 8:48 a.m., Bonnie J. Sacco, 55, of 138A Oneida St., Oswego, NY, was taken into custody based on a bench warrant out of Geneseo. Ms. Sacco was turned over to a member of the NYS Police for transfer to the Geneseo Police Department for further processing. The warrant was revealed during an unrelated investigation into a disabled vehicle in the City of Oswego. On 7/11/14 at 10:58 p.m., April D. Smith, 55, of 94 Shore Oaks Drive, Oswego, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and Inadequate Lighting (one illuminated headlight) following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of Scriba. Ms. Smith was arraigned before Town of Volney Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond. She is scheduled to appear before Town of Scriba Court on 07/24/14 to answer the charges. On 7/12/14 at 2:35 a.m., Richard A. Denny, 32, of 129 Saulisbury St., Lacona, NY, was ticketed for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended for three speeding violations on 11/08/2006), following a traffic stop on Harwood Drive in the Village of Sandy Creek. He is scheduled to appear before Town of Sandy Creek Court on 8/07/14 to answer the charges. On 7/12/13 at 7:45 p.m., Tammy L. Gary, 54, of 2657 SR3, Lot D1, Fulton, NY, was charged with Operation While Registration Suspended/Revoked (registration suspended on 6/02/14 for insurance lapse), following a traffic stop on SR 481 in the City of Fulton after a License Plate Reader reportedly targeted her vehicle Ms. Gary is scheduled to answer the charge before Fulton City Court on 7/24/14. The arrest was made during an Operation Stone Garden detail. On 7/12/14 at 11:13 p.m., Alex M. Marino, 18, of 33 Perfield Road, Central Square, NY, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation, following a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle at the Central Square Middle School. Mr. Marino was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Hastings Court on 8/04/14. On 7/13/14 at 4:17 p.m., Daniel T. Wilkinson, 52, of Black Creek Road, Brewerton, NY, was taken into custody based on a bench warrant issued by Town of West Monroe Court. Mr. Wilkinson was arraigned before Town of West Monroe Court and released after paying in full the amount owed to the court. On 7/13/14 at 8:38 p.m., Michael M. Hamilton, Sr., 22, of 540 Cable Road, Williamstown, NY, was arrested for Criminal Trespass, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, following a domestic incident that occurred at a Town of Amboy residence which he reportedly entered unlawfully. Mr. Hamilton reportedly kicked open a door and unlocked an inner chain after the resident refused to allow him entry to the home.
