News: The Judy Nicholson Foundation has helped support kidney cancer research at Mayo Clinic Florida through grant support. This support has led to research examining the role that kidney size may play in the prognosis of patients with kidney cancer. Recent grant support from Judy Nicholson Foundation has helped investigate the role that fat around the kidney may play in predicting prognosis in patients with kidney cancer. The long term goal of JNF grant support is to aid in developing predictive models of which patients are going to develop metastatic kidney cancer and therefore require further systemic therapy to aid in their survival and potential cure.
