News & Updates Poultry-feed prices may rule flat INDIA - 13 Mar, 2014 KARNAL, MARCH 12: Prices of poultry-feed products are likely to remain unchanged for the next few days. Aditya Mishra, a commodity expert, told Business Line that too much fluctuation in prices of key ingredients kept feed prices unchanged. According to traders, if prices of soyameal move up further, feed prices may increase in the coming weeks. In the physical market, soyameal went up by ₹300 to ₹38,300 a tonne, while bajra went up by ₹200 to ₹13,200 a quintal. Di-calcium phosphate was at ₹36.80 a kg, while maize improved by ₹40 to ₹1,540 a quintal. DRB lost ₹400 at ₹8,100, Rice bran oil eased by ₹2 and sold at ₹53 a kg, MBM was at ₹42, while mustard de-oiled cake increased by ₹900 and was at ₹15,900 a tonne. Pre-lay mash sold at ₹1,100; Layer concentrate 25 per cent was at ₹1,520; Layer concentrate 35 per cent at ₹1,200 while Broiler concentrate quoted at ₹2,115 for a 50-kg bag. Broiler went up by ₹3 to ₹60/kg, egg dropped by 24 paise to ₹3.03, while chick went for ₹12-14, up ₹1. Source by PPK
