News channel 4 reporting : local people thanking Indian Army. News 5 : some did not allow rescue team to land their chopper and some threw stones and injured critically a NDRF personnel. Facebook account 1 reporting : Indian army to rot in hell by being motivated by statements of political leaders. Facebook account 2 reporting : kill all those criticizing Indian army. MY fb views: Administration surely is to be criticized for not taking appropriate measures at the appropriate time. The statements of opp. leaders who are criticizing the efforts of RESCUERS makes me believe that they had never used their VIP status for furthering their own interest in any single case and all the 1,10,000 rescued are the VIPs. It is hard for me to believe while sitting in my room the gratitude some people are showing to Indian Army for helping them. May be they are foreigners who have been paid to burst in tears and show their thankfulness . The NDRF personnel must be regretting his decision for getting recruited in this force and will set a precedent for those who want to get recruited in the same. I hope the some people will rescue everyone stranded in flooded places . Those imitating the political views of some select leaders should from now consider those leaders to be their godfather. ( and if they want to do something good for society should work practically in field for the goodness and not just get themselves provoked on statement of ill willed ). Some being patriotic have lost their human side. God forbid they never have to face such situations. But some have lost their loved ones not blaming anyone just grieving for their loss. Some are lucky enough to come into sight of the rescue team , some still hoping . Sitting in home we all are just throwing our personal views feeling no agony about the victims of this calamity. This natural disaster has just gave one more opportunity to the two sects of Homo Sapiens to criticize each other. I hope that the administrations learns something from this disaster and will take steps to prevent such loss which mankind has suffered after making up for the present loss in whatever way they can. Acc. to a report - 1411 tonnes of relief materials were dropped by the Indian Air Force. Thirteen tonnes of water purifying tablets and six water filtration plants with a capacity to filter 1.2 lakh bottles per day is being transported to Srinagar. 8,200 blankets and 650 tents were provided to the flood victims. 80 medical teams of the Armed Forces Medical Services are already operating in full swing. Four Field Hospitals have been established in Avantipur, Pattan, Anantnag and Old Airfield where medical aid is being provided to the ailing people. Till now they have treated more than 21,500 patients. More relief materials including blankets and tents, water bottles and food packets are being airlifted from Hyderabad, Baroda and Delhi. Owing to the fickleness of the media reports we can just hope that this report is also true. JUST HOPING AND PRAYING.
