News letter for those not on the email list. (which you can sign up for by sending me your name and email address on our website.)Hello everyone! It seems the email newsletter is the most efficient way of getting you this information for now. So I’m sorry if it’s not as fancy as I had been doing. Once again, if you wish to be removed, simply hit reply and tell me to remove you. I will do my best to make my system understand. Now for the news: The shop hours are changed! Samantha is helping me out temporarily with Wednesdays, and some Tuesdays as I have taken a part time job at Seven Feathers wherein I am working Sun-Wed. Then I work the shop here from Thursday through Saturday. So, for at least this month, we are Sun & Monday closed as we always have been. Tuesdays, if we are open are 11-4 best thing to check on this one is to watch Facebook posts or check on line if you do not want to just come by. Wednesdays 10-4, Thursdays 10-6, Fridays 10-6 and Saturdays 10-4. We will be closed for Saturday April 12th and Saturday April 19th. Going on right now is our March Madness 20% off everything in the store except classes! This goes on until close on Saturday. I believe the website has been updated to where you can sign up online for Wire Wrap classes this weekend. Classes are running right after the downtown St. Patrick’s Day Parade which ends at 11:00 am Saturday the 15th of March. (So, parking in back might be the best option.) Perry’s class runs 11-2pm and then Geno’s class starts after that going from 2-5. If you sign up on line, there is an option to add a note or comment. In that you would just type in morning or PM class. Or Perry or Geno’s class. Please include your phone number! Either way, I’m trying to keep these buttons as generic as possible since I don’t have quite as much time to revamp the website as I once did. The website also has the list of items needed for classes. syrynejewelry then in the classes tab. Class is 30.00 and it is prepay, in particular for Perry’s class. Spring Fair time! Yes, we are at the Spring fair again this year right next to our buddies at Wicker Works! Our Local artist Jason Jacobus from Rock N Wool will be there a good portion of the time, showing off his buttons of shell, rock and other interesting things! I will also have some finished items of the shops, and of course we will have Perry Burdic’s wire wrapped pendants, and our other artists as well. A couple last little things for this newsletter, many of you know that I have been dealing with some health issues. Well, apparently timing is everything, because along with these strange new hours, I have been trying to cram Dr. office visits, tax man appointments, trips to the bank and a second job etc, into many of my days as of late. Dan is now living outside of Roseburg, so I don’t have my everyday volunteer mascot anymore. So, if you come by and I am not there, believe me I wish I were also! I try very hard to post appointment closures as I get them, but sometimes they happen too fast, such as this week. I went from nothing going on, to three appointments in two days very quickly. (Today we will not open until around 11am (due to an appointment at 10:00am) and we will need to close from 3-4:30 (ish) this afternoon for a different DR. Hopefully soon this will all be behind me and we can get back to business at hand. Then that other last thing, I have to change a policy on you all I used to reserve special orders ½ down payment for orders over 20.00. It needs to change to prepayment for ALL orders UP to 50.00, and then ½ down for orders over 50.00. There is no shipping charges for items under 10 pounds. Over that we split it. I’m sorry, but we did have a few naughty people at Christmas time and a couple last summer that have left me with some silly non-paid for items that have ruined my lackadaisical ways concerning orders. A question for all of you: I am thinking of doing a crowd funding campaign for the shop to increase inventory, I would like to bring in more high end materials such as: Precious Metal Clays, more Sterling Silver choices and maybe try to get our sign up (which is quite a lot of money also.). If I do this crowd funding, would you all as my friends and loyal customers be willing to help me spread the word or maybe even donate to the cause? Basically, I’m asking permission to send you each the link for the crowd funding campaign when and if I do it. Please hit reply and let me know if this is ok. I don’t want to spam any one, though I do know many of you would like to help, if not for actual donation, then for passing it on to someone who might. Thank you so much! I hope this helps, and I will see you in a few hours! Joni Kreutz-Edwards Syryne Jewelry LLC
