News on Michaláks Case - press release No 2 - On December 10 has Eva Michalakova brought, through her Norvegian attorney, her case to the Regional Commission on Barnevern under § 4-21 BVL; she asks for return of David and Denis to her care. - Her sister, Zuzana Sovková and her husband, living together with two children in the Czech Republic, are ready to join the case and ask for giving Denis and David into their custody, on case that commission would refuse to acknowledge Eva Michaláková to be competent to care for her children. - On Wednesday I submitted a letter addressed to minister Zaorálek to Jana Reinišová, Director general of legal and consular section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; I have sent a copy of the letter to the President of the Republic, the Chairman of the Senate, the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies, to the Prime minister and to Jitka Chalánková, MP. I have informed them about the new legal steps taken in Norway, and reassured the minister, that legal attorneys of Eva Michaláková are interested in diplomatic intervention of Czech Republic. - I asked the minister for assurance that Czech authorities would consider this new action as exhaustion of local remedies and in case that claim of Eva Michaláková will be rejected without acceptable justification, Czech diplomatic intervention will continue. Now I am waiting for ministers answer.
