News out of GHS: longtime assistant football Coach Rio Thompson was named new head coach for the Pirates today. We as a staff are excited for the upcoming season, Thompson told the Beacon. We have witnessed the hard work the student athletes have been putting in and feel that they, along with our outstanding community, are the core of what will become a very strong program.
