Newsletter SUNDAY 17th AUGUST 2014: TWENTIETH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME (YEAR A) Parish Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi All back safely Monday tea-time after a superb weeks Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi. We had a wonderful time, visiting some amazing places - each of us will have their favourite. The weather was fantastic, hot but not too hot, all of us soaking up the warm Italian sun. Palazzola exerted its usual magic on every member of the party, understanding now why Papa P loves it so much and goes back every year! Huge thanks to everyone for making the trip such a success: to Gerry and Bernice, first and foremost, for shouldering such a huge part of the administrative burden, and to every member of the group for mucking in so well, the fleet of foot giving a helping hand at every stage to the not so fleet! Meal times were a special highlight, all of us sitting down together to enjoy the fabulous Italian food and wine, and each others company. Watch the website for some great Photos of the Week coming up. Were planning the next trip away together already!
