Newspapers are entitled to their own views. I agree with that. Newspapers, however, should not knowingly print lies. Especially lies that add fear or worry to a section of their readership. If they do not agree with, for example, a political party saying something - then they should simply not report it. They should certainly not twist it and then print a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts. This, dear reader, is why I am pleased to see that the Daily Record are giving their editions away for free. A lying, biased, newspaper cannot survive in the age of social media. Fact. I hope other newspapers also take note that by lying in a bid to stroke the fur of their regular readership - they are ultimately going to become known as being only a total fraud and the advertisers will leave in droves. The social mood and social collective awareness of truth is changing - for the better. The mainstream media are going to feel the impact - and it will be hard and harsh and expensive. (S`cuse rant, it`s been a long day).
