Newton 25 Km Challenge - 28 December 2014 Rank - 3rd Women Veteran 2:11:08 - 24.08 km Elevation What a great way to end the year. Today my MacRitchie Trail Ultra was postponed to next week 3 January 2015. So I decided to ring the organizer, Mr Chan of Newton event n he accepted my regostration just 4 days ago! I registered for 15 km, thinking I should just have a short run coz I hv done a 30 km on Tuesday nite n then 25 km on Thursday nite. But when I went to pick up my racebib on Friday, I was given a 25km bib!! Ok! Now I need to xhange my planon how I wanna run it. Originally I wanted to run all out now I hv to turn 25 km into a long run. Its been rainin all evening of saturday. So as expected this mornin it was a great weather, not hot n muggy! Yeay for every single runner! I hv ran this event in 2012. I know its hills n slopes are killer. Thats why its called change I targetted a 5 mins plus or minus pace. & that I did! I am very pleased with my timing! 2012 I ran it n it took me 2.15! I hv improved in timing. In the last few seconds the second woman took over me from the back. So, I managed to clinch 3rd placing! That was certainly a bonus coz I had to rum cautiously.. for my next week major 9 loops of 10.5 km in the trail in Singapore! Wat a way to finish the year! #salomonrunning #worldofsports
