Newton primary school had lots of fun during autism awareness day today, they played when I went shopping I bought...... With lots of distracting noises. They also did a blindfolded taste test - pear and pepper, orange and syrup, chocolate spread and coffee, cheese spread and banana plus a few more to help understand the unexpected !!! They played how close is too close? ( a space awareness game) and watched a few clips off the autism horizon programme that was on last night which included the wheres Wally test. All good fun while also raising money :-) x well done everyone at newton school ;-) x
