Next Breaking News A new study says man-made global warming may lessen the likelihood of the atmospheric steering currents that shoved Superstorm Sandy into New Jersey last year. However, the study, which was published Tuesday in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, also says sea level rise and stronger storms will worsen with global warming. "Sandy was an extremely unusual storm in several respects and pretty freaky.
