Next Election Day: August 26, 2014 Voter Registration Application Deadline: July 28, 2014 Independent voters, it is important to note that the race for Gila County Justice Court Judge will be decided in the Primaries. Candidates, the incumbent Gary Goetteman and his opponent Jess Bollinger are both Democrats. This means if you are an Independent voter, you will need to request a Democratic ballot to vote is this race. This is a very critical race for the changes we are creating in this community. To register for early voting, go to https://servicearizona/webapp/evoter/register?execution=e1s1 Gila County Elections Department explained to me that on July 23, they would start sending out letters in which you will be able to request either a Republican or Democratic ballot. While I tend to lean to the right (Republican) I will request a Democratic ballot because I feel we have come too far in returning the service of our courts to the people to start taking backwards steps. The current Justice Court Judge Gary Goetteman has been a critical part of that positive change.
