Next Model Up? 0z GFS The ideas from this model have really remained consistent from this afternoon.. perhaps a little bit of a shift, but not much. Still looks like Northern Atlantic, points north would see the brunt of the snow.. Taken verbatim... Shore ends up with around 4, interior Cumberland, Southern Atlantic.. 6+ with Northern Atlantic straight up to New York would be in the 12 category. STILL not a forecast... just keying in on a trend developing. Good to see GFS still on board with a snowy solution. Clipper jets out over the coast early Monday, we see light snow showers and then as the low redevelops (and that is the unknown variable... how fast does it happen??) there could be a lull.. that is the most difficult factor of the forecast to predict. Snow picks up in intensity later Monday night into early Tuesday with the heaviest being along the coast. Storm wraps up and gets out of here late morning. As storm intensifies, strong winds would be an issue.. coupled with heavy snow.. there would be some power line issues.
