Next Phase Ok, so now that we have had our de-load week, what does that mean you have installed for you in the next phase? You wouldve noticed the longer rest periods and less volume during the de-load week, now your rest period will be less and your volume will be increasing again. During this next phase you will have the opportunity to increase your weight during sets, so long as your technique is adequate. We will be doing a lot of bar work, both Olympic bar and pull-up bar, so make sure you look after your hands. Gloves could be an option but make sure that they are proper gloves that are grippy and wont let you slip off the rig or let go of the O-Bar. You will be doing some more challenging Met-cons that a lot wont finish in the time caps. But remember, its not about finishing it if youre not moving correctly. Id rather see you not finish yet perform the movements correctly. This is where you will get an advantage over people who dont take their time to perfect their technique so make every rep count towards perfection NOT towards finishing! Lets keep moving forward in performance and have some fun whilst doing it.
