Next Topic: Facebook sharing. I find my relationship with Facebook fluxes. At times its a great tool for connection. Others it makes me really dislike and/or question people. It feels impossible to know if someone is being genuine, over-sharing, or posting what they think will make them look good for others most of the time. Is there a hidden agenda? Is it self-serving? Or do people just need a platform to express themselves and FB is an easy choice? What are your thoughts? Or your guiding principles around what to share and what not to share? I try to subscribe to the check rule - I check in with myself before I post something and ask why am I posting this? If the answer isnt to add value prompt conversation or because its hilarious I usually stop in my tracks.
