Next Tuesday, October 7th at 5:30 PM at the Cathedral Former Theology Teacher Anne Morales will be honored at a special Mass with Bishop Kicanas. If you can fit it in to your schedule, let’s support Anne! Anne serves on the Parish Council at Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Tucson and on the Diocese of Tucson Vocations Committee. She has served as a volunteer youth minister for almost 20 years. She also helps coordinate the weekly youth meeting and Confirmation class and has taken teens to Life Teen events in California, retreats throughout southern Arizona, to the family vacation home in the White Mountains. She has chaperoned youth group trips to World Youth Days in Rome, Toronto, Cologne, Sydney, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro. She has practiced tax-exempt financing and law for almost 30 years, before teaching theology and law at Salpointe Catholic High School, while continuing to practice law part-time with the Lotzar Law Firm, PC. In 2012, she returned to the practice of law with the local real estate firm of Monroe McDonough Goldschmidt & Molla where her practice focuses on real estate and business transactions and litigation. On Nov. 1, Morales will join fellow attorneys Heidi Brent and Larry McDonough as they open the firm of Monroe, McDonough, Brent & Morales, PLLC. Their practice will focus on real estate, business, trust and estate and probate law. WAY TO GO ANNE!!
