Next few weeks we will explore finding peace at Christmas. For many Christmas becomes a sad reminder of what we have lost or never experienced in what some label as Traditional Christmas. We compare our present to sweet memories of past & it results in depression and sadness. We need to rem our Savior left the glories of heaven to be Emmanuel (Isaiah 7:14)..... We see how He came to bring hope in hopeless situations. The first Christmas was not what you say Traditional.... It was full of discomfort from worlds view. But the peace he gave as Mary & Joseph felt and held ,they knew this was working for the good. Friends in pains of life let it work for you. For in pains of life is actually the true spirit of Christmas! Its b/c of the worlds pain and hopelessness that He came in the first place!! We say Jesus is the Reason for the season.... Is He ?????..... Yes He is...... Lets restore Spirit of Christmas , for in our sadness is when we can be the closest to the real spirit of Christmas! Marys song is a beautiful reminder how we can rejoice even in hard situations. ( Luke 1:46-56)
