Next month, Ill be skydiving with the vaunted U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team for the South Shore Air Show, and Im hoping to video-record my descent all the way down - for my newspaper column, radio show listeners and social media followers. In past years, Ive flown with the Golden Knights, watching them jump over various targets, as well as with the USAF Thunderbirds (9.2-Gs), the Red Baron stunt team, and other high-flying, barrel-rolling acts. But Ive skydived only once before, and not with the Golden Knights, so this will be different. Hopefully, my column will capture how it feels from leaving the ground in a plane to landing on the ground on my feet. Stay tuned.
