Next stage of the trip - We came to Belfast yesterday and and it is more like Christchurch and England with its quaint taxis and less people and one way system on the roads. The hotel is all we could ask for - good service great room. After getting our hire car and driving it back from the airport eek!!!! lucky i had hired a GPS but still a little hair raising. Poor Shelley, they drive on the other side of the road and have automatic - i am sure she thought this is it! We got back to the hotel to find that Hertz had taken 2000.00 out of my visa all up and is holding most of it till the car is returned. THIS was NOT explained so i was really peed off. So better not damage the car.. We went for a walk in the afternoon along Belfasts streets and then to the St Anns Cathedral where an ancestor was married in 1838 when it was just St Anns Church of Ireland. The baptismal font you could swim in LOL.
