Next up on the workshop front...please let me know asap if you would like to book a space - Friday 26th July 2013 7.00-9.30pm **Posture Clinic – Deconstructing the Warrior Asanas (anatomically and esoterically) - at Yoga At The Boiler House, Shire Hall Way, Bury, IP33 2BA (2.5 hours) bookable direct through [email protected]. Deconstructing some of the most fundamental asanas within your practice – the Warrior (Virabradhasana) poses. We will delve into correct alignment, utilisation of bandha and breath to explore and deepen the poses and the energetic effects of their inclusion in your practice. This workshop will include meditation, pranayama and a mobilisation sequence to build you into the dynamic asana (the physical poses) practice. Following the main body of the workshop, you will then be lead into a restorative sequence to balance and kramically complete your practice. It is an “all levels workshop”, and as it is exploring one of the core fundamentals of yoga practice, those students who have recently completed a beginners class or workshop are more than welcome too, as it will not be a “continuous flow”. However, do expect to work hard! Please note that booking for this workshop is essential as places will be limited. This workshop costs £25.
