Next up we have a fight. Its not a match, its not an exhibition, its a fight. Kazushi Sakuraba vs Minoru Suzuki. Sakuraba is the one who brought in the Gracies to NJPW, but is well known for beating every Gracie in MMA over in Japan. Suzuki is known for being a brawler with a MMA background. They have been feuding for the past couple of months and every match ends in a brawl, so this match has a special stipulation. Only way to win is by TKO, submission, or ref stoppage. This is the first time theyre meeting one on one, and they do not disappoint. They beat the ever living hell out of each other. Sakuraba using his MMA background locks in a Kimura about half way through the match and Suzuki is hurt. But it doesnt stop him. Heck, a few seconds later Sakuraba is kicking the bad arm and Suzuki is asking for more! He fires up and unleashes a barrage of vicious shots to the jaw that stun Sakuraba long enough for Suzuki to lock in a Rear Naked Choke which causes Sakuraba to pass out! Suzuki wins by TKO. After the match, Sakuraba extends his hand for a handshake and it looks like Suzuki isnt going to accept till he turns back around and hugs him, shaking his hand. A well fought match by both men. Oh and also, Suzuki has one of the most over theme songs in NJPW. Kaze Ni Nareeeee!
