Next week, Partners and its Colombian affiliate center, Partners Colombia, will host a regional conference in Bogota: “Relations between Government, Business, and the Community: The Importance of Dialogue in Building Consensus and Preventing Conflict surrounding Extractive Industries in Latin America.” The conference will be implemented in partnership with the Colombian Government’s APC Colombia, and with the expert support of regional experts from Centro de Colaboración Cívica (CCC), Transformando Conflictos-Partners El Salvador, Parceiros Brasil - Centro de Processos Colaborativos, Socios Peru, and Fundación Cambio Democrático. The conference is part of Partners’ ongoing regional program, Sustainable Connections for Sustainable Development (bit.ly/Z74BPS), funded by the Department of State - Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and LaborLabor.
