Next weekend, my Big Basin backpacking training begins... I am planning to hike on a portion of the Skyline2Sea trail => Berry Creek Falls trail which overlooks Silver Falls & the Golden Cascades then connects => Sunset, where camp for the night is located. (4.9mi from HQ, a.k.a. my house) Next day, we return on sunset trail, detour down Timms Creek back to HQ completing a total 11mi hike & 2150ft elevation change. Everyone is welcome if anyone wants to join...? This is a great beginner trip, next one will be a little more complex... Possible departure: Friday by 5PM/Saturday approx.Noon (Gotta pack H20 & no fires)
