Neyland Stadium under the lights, the bands playing Rocky top, the smell of hotdogs and popcorn in the air, children laughing, my arm around my babe and of course the Vols are on the field.. What an exceptional place to be with all the excitement and pageantry the South has to offer. All the while looking back, glory days, and eyes on the future ( The Vols).. So why go to watch these youngsters knowing they are no match for the Tide. Well partially for the enchantment of The Hill and to see the future becoming. I went personally to cheer on the dedication that Butch Jones brings to the field. That dedication was reflected last night through these fine young Vols. Sure, they got punched in the nose by a goodAlabama team. However Bama could not knock them out. The emergence of the third string freshman quarterback ignited the Vols and forged the We Can maturity that comes in time with a young team. I witnessed that last night, as a result the Vols were in it right down to the last second. They believed.. No I never thought for a second that they had any chance of winning, but they did. Now thats Coaching and chemistry. Yes Tennessee loses with youth, just as well as Alabama does with the best (Ole Miss).. From what I viewed, we gained more from the game than Bama. Yes, Alabama is a good team not a great one as those of the past. Congratulations Bama with a fine win, were all the better for it. No dissappointment here..Neylands electric again...Our Hound dogs are howling, Go Vols..!!!
