Ngodzo asked to take his jersey bak Joel Ngodzo was allegedly rebuked and warned by the Highlanders executive for exchanging his jersey with Dynamos striker, Rodrick Mutuma soon after the TM Challenge about a fortnight ago it has emerged. Highlanders were thumped 1 – 4 their fourth defeat to Dembare this season. The incident which attracted praise from soccer fans did not go down well with senior officials who expressed their displeasure. Efforts to get comment from Ngodzo or the Highlanders CEO, Ndumiso Gumede, were futile as they were both not comfortable with discussing the matter. Mutuma though confirmed to Soccer24 that he was asked to return the Bosso jersey by Joel. “Well it is true that Josta came to me after the presentation and demanded his jersey back. He told me that his bosses at Highlanders were not comfortable with the arrangement,” said Mutuma A senior player at Highlanders also confirmed the incident on condition of remaining anonymous, “Yes its true Joel did get in trouble over the incident we were a bit surprised but its over now”
