Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Grants and Awards Oppurtunities We here at Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga are very pleased to highlight all the latest grants and awards that are available to support our indigenous scholars! Make sure you take note of the closing dates to ensure you do not miss deadlines. Summer internship programme 2013-14 The programme is intended for Māori and indigenous students interested in advancing their skills and capacity in indigenous development research. There are 10 internships available with a wide range of projects to select from. Applicants can be upper level undergraduates, postgraduates or enrolled in a Master’s programme but cannot be enrolled in a PhD programme or already have a PhD. For more details visit maramatanga.ac.nz/funding-opportunity/internships Fulbright-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Call for applications to the Fulbright-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Scholar Award. This award, valued at up to US$37,500, is for a New Zealand academic, artist or professional to conduct research and/or lecture in the US for three to five months in a field of indigenous development. NZSSN Research Methods and Skills Scholarships Applications are now being accepted for our Research Methods and Skills Scholarships via the New Zealand Social Statistics Network (NZSSN) summer programme 2013. Up to 10 scholarships are offered to our researchers and tertiary students (undergraduate with the required prerequisites or postgraduate) in our Participating Research Entities to attend any of the short courses offered.
