Nice Image Denise! This is the final element, a body wrap, on our Venetian tumblers from our campaign with Groupon. But I digress. What a weekend at IACG! Friday we made 8 metal sculptures with Creative Clay in the morning. Girls Night Out, our first,(Dang, I hope thats the correct title) was a big hit. Alas, no pole dancing, but lots of good fun and creativity for everyone just the same. We made a Super Creeper as the demo/giveaway. (Image tomorrow) So 8 pieces total In the box. (pieces made and put in the annealer) Today we boxed 12 pieces, not including the Birthday party for 8 very excited girls! We made a fish for B-day girl, and her 7 friends each made a cast glass piece! 37 pieces made at IACG within 36 hours! Metal sculpture and blown glass! And everyone ie stoked for tomorrow! Ill be making large blown glass forms for the primary public art installation in Clymer Park! By myself!!.... OK, I may allow Jeff and Justin to help.... Ill rely on them both, heavily. This is our new Hot Shop Floor Team. Kenny Tombs will be traveling soon to the outer most reaches on Earth. We wish him safe travels, And I would like to thank him for all his dedication to IACG, and his work on the hot shop floor with Jeff and I. Tom Pitzen is stopping over tomorrow. He has 3 Installations for the City of Gulfport, the Community Center, and the iconic Gulfport sign and Clymer Park. His butterfly form emerging from a feminine shaped chrysalis in Clymer Park is stunning. (Dedication Oct. 3 for 11 pieces of new Public Art in Gulfport!) IACG is the hub of creative arts in Gulfport.
