Nice little reminder tonight about never becoming complacent around horses. Hopped on a super safe coblet at the end of his lesson to feel how well he was going. Didnt adjust my stirrups so far too long and wasnt wearing a hat. He tripped and lost his footing, was unable to recover and we both ended up on the floor with my leg underneath him. We are both absolutely fine but could easily not have been. Lesson learned - or should I say refreshed.
