Nice share Lada; the Ambassador is a truly righteous, courageous man: Today the Ambassador and Mrs. Pyatt hosted a reception at their home to mark U.S. Independence Day. The Ambassador was honored to welcome Prime Minister Yatsenyuk as well as Ruslana, who sang the Ukrainian National Anthem. The Ambassador said “The last year has been difficult for the Ukrainian people, and yet in spite of these challenges one thing is clear: Ukraine is strongest when it is united and independent. And today, as we mark America’s independence, both our peoples can share in celebrating the gift of liberty.” Americans celebrate Independence Day by relaxing with friends and family outdoors, and the Ambassador was thrilled that so many guests could join his family in enjoying this tradition.
