Nice to know that Boston and Tillie are apparently officially part of the neighbourhood now and under the caring eyes of my neighbours. Yesterday at @ 8:00 am there was a knock on my front door as I was getting ready for work. First thing Im thinking is why is someone knocking on the door at 8:00 am ? Then I remember that its garbage day so maybe its the garbage police knocking on my door because they think the bin is too heavy, or in the wrong place, or they dont like the lid etc etc. But no, when I open the door its one of my neighbours from about 10 houses down the street asking me did one of your dogs get loose ? I saw a black and tan coonhound running through the neighbourhood this morning and thought it might be one of yours . Thankfully it wasnt Boston or Tillie as both were accounted for, Boston standing quietly by my side at the door, and Tillie racing around in the basement raising the alarm because there is someone at the door. But it is reassuring that he thought enough to check with me when he thought it might be one of my dogs. And as he left he said Im going to drive around to see if I can find him, a coonhound shouldnt be out in this cold weather . Im not sure if he found him, but at least he tried. Good neighbour.
