Nice to see a couple cool places in the airport, but this was very underwhelming. I was also disappointed they called it the Iowa Tap Room, & didnt have what I consider the best Des Moines beer- ( confluence ). Seemed odd. Maybe owned by a competitor?? They didnt have a big menu which makes me happy, but the apps were eh no wings, just breaded buffalo strips, which looked like a orange mess-NO color! The salad was really good. But thats it. They need more Iowa staples. Just my opinion though. Prices & environment were great for an airport.
