Nice work Reisa. Ryan Cavanagh - good shit Its gotten to a point where clubs and promoters are literally putting these DJs on a pedestal. Ive played some places where its actually embarrassing and I just want to crawl in a hole. To me, a booth is meant to be stuck in a corner. The focal point should be the music. If youre a DJ, most likely youre playing somebody elses music. To stand on a stage and do that takes away from the spirit of what it all is. Its the same as Moodymann putting up a sheet while he plays.
